8/14/2017 Monk Seal Dailies: Ka'ale RH32, RN14, Benny RE74&Pohaku RO28, U/U@Campbells and U/U@Rabbit Island

Today's Dailies are brought to you by Team Billand and Posse Pal Gayle.  Otherwise a quiet day in the seal world.   I did hear about Nani who began her molt, wonder if her little one came around to visit.

Team Billand found RN14 at Paradise Cove, as he came in there was a little girl on shore just staring. RN14 came up on shore then rolled back in the water, swimming in lagoon as usual. RN14 played with the buoy, climbed over it, took it down and tried biting it (just like R020 M&M). 7:40 am RN14 vocalized then turned and zoomed out of the lagoon. 

Bet you can't guess what happened next! Yup, off to Kahe where they found Ka'ale on the rocks. RN14 showed up looking for company (as Barb put it he's like a big German Shepard puppy). 

Benny RE74 and Pohaku RO28 aka Romeo and Juliet were hanging out together at Ewa Beach.
There was some grumbling and settling in.  On site was a nice dude who took it upon himself to keep people away from the seals.


Once again Team Billand found a U/U doing 7 to 10 minute dives, no ID could be made, seems to be a newly molted adult.
