8/31/2017 Monk Seal Dailies: 5 U/U Rabbit Island, UU China Walls, Right Spot, Aukai, Rip and Kekoa

Today's Dailies are brought to you by Gayle, Team T&D and Team Billand. Word has it there was a party on Rabbit Island ( a seal party of five).

Gayle reported FIVE seals on Rabbit Island today. Two adults showed up in the later part of the day. Wish we had some clue who they were but it sure is nice to know they are there. Thank you Gayle.

Gayle also found Right Spot closer to Makai Pier in the morning, but a few hours later she decided to move to the right of the keiki pool.

Also there is still a UU at China Walls, Gayle managed to snap a picture then run for cover because the waves were so big. Crazy seal lady, better be careful.

Tammy and Dave were out today and their only find was Aukai at back beach. 

Team Billand found Rip (RR70) and Kekoa Alii (RK72) at Maili today. Both males were on the rocks vocalizing back and forth. Both settled in even while the tide was rising. On their 11am recheck both seals were gone and area was underwater. Other than these two they came up empty despite multiple stops.
