4/30 DB's Dailies:

It was a tough day at work for my Rabbit Island observations, as well as Marilyn's coverage from AD to Kokee Flats. It was another rainy, muddy day.

At 0930 Kekoa (RK72) hauled out to Rjght Middle Cliff, on Rabbit Island.

I was elated to see the return of Sadie (RB12) fronting 3BS at 1038 She had been out foraging for a couple of days. It was comforting to see her back.

At 0930 Marilyn found a foraging juvenile unknown at Spitting Cave. Observations were limited due to divers in the area. This was a juvenile sized animal, and there was a possible suggestion of a head scar, and no indication at all of any bleaches on either side. RG32 is possible, and the lack of bleaches tends to rule out Kawena. J/U is the best that can be done.

At 1041 Marilyn found Kaiwi (RK96) at Kokee Flats. she was about a third of the way down the flats, from the access steps.

Team Billand had a foraging animal off shore of CIP this morning, but rainy, gloomy conditions made any hope of a ID impossible.
