4/6/2017 DB's Dailies:

It was nothing but birds when I arrived for Rabbit Island duty at 0800. During a rain episode at 0925 I could just barely see two animals hauling out together right of the 3BS on RI. Even after the rain they were barely visible behind the morning glory. Finally first Kolohe (RW22) and then RG32 began moving down for a midday cool off at 1115. They would remain near the water line the rest of the day.

At 1247 I did a Kokee flats check and found Kiwi (RK96) for her 4th consecutive day at the spot a 3rd of the way in the way in KK flats, per posse member Mike Doyle.

A Tracy text at 1252 brought word that Kerby  (RW08) had been instrumented at Nan Kai. He also gotten two new tags, (Left W71/W72) to go along with his existing W08/W09 tags.

KHON News ran a piece of a  video from Kauai this evening concerning  a guy and his dog, and a seal.
