4/23/2017 DB's Dailies:

Got to Makai Pier at 0745 but it would be 1109 before my first arrival. At that time what would prove to be Kawena (RH36) hauled out of Seal Rock Inlet, on Rabbit Island.

At 1118 on a routine pan I found an animal amaongst the rocks of Rocky Right Beach. At 1158 I would finally get the RG32 ID.

At 1140 an adult sized, U/M  hauled out to join Kawena. I was never able to confirm an ID. Two red tags, and relatively new coat was all I could come up with. He just didn't give me anything to work with. Maybe tomorrow.

At 0813 Team Billand reported RK36 at Maili.

At 1335 they advisd that Kerby (RW08) was foraging off shore of Maili.

At 1429 the Billands reported they could see an animal down the beach at Depot;s . At 1458 they confirmed the Pohaku (RO28) ID.
