Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:10 to 1:54 pm and there were four seals seen during that time.
A Weaner Unknown next to seaweed covered rocks down from 3BS: weaner size, older coat, yellow belly. no info on sex or tags.
Between 3BS and SRI were three seals:
Adult Male: large adult size, dark gray coat, male belly, did not see tags.
RK24 Bruno: adult size, mottled gray male belly, two red tags, lower lip scar.
Team R&B had an interesting day, in that all the critters they observed today were in the water.
First found one seal foraging which was Nalu R3CX and he was out there catching fish.
Then over by the outfall they watched three seals foraging. They waited and tried to get IDs but no such luck today. They suspect it could be RP30, RL12 and another, but they just don't know.
They were able to capture something spectacular today. Every season they hope to capture a while breaching and today was that day. There was a mom and calf, not to mention dolphins out there too.
