A quick email from posse pal Kathy shared about an adult male seen at Iroquois. She was kind enough to send some photos. She didn't see any scars, or tags to determine an identing marks. I reached out to Team R&B and Barb guessed a possible RN14 Kalani who doesn't have any tags.
Despite the rainy day, Team R&B were out there today, bless them!
They started their day at pokai and there were no seals seen. Unfortunately still no one has come to collect the remains of the honu. The valley was pretty with lots of low clouds and they were gifted a beautiful rainbow.
They continued looking but coming up empty. They hung out and watched the high surf and there was one brave surfer out there.
They made their way out to plains and found a seal on shore. It was a male R416 Makalii. At least they were able to end their day with one last find.
