Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 10:33 to 12:10 and there were five seals seen during that time.

Out on the Lanikai side of LPB was an Adult Female: sub-adult to small adult size, two red tags, grayish tan female belly. Marilyn doesn't think this is RQ32, because she didn't see the N applied bleach, but she could be wrong.

Down from 1BS was Adult Male 1: adult size, gray male belly. two

red tags. This may be RK24, but Marilyn just couldn't be sure. She never saw his right side where his applied N33 bleach and did not see his scars.

Between 3BS and SRI were two seals:

N32: adult size newer dark gray coat, gray male belly, easy to read N32 applied bleach on his right hip, no tags. Marilyn noted she thinks N32 may have some sort of scar on his head.

Near N32 was Adult Male 2: adult size, newer coat, gray male belly and at least one tag.

In the channel at RRB was R7AF: adult size, newer coat, dark gray male belly N61 applied bleach, no info on his tags because his flippers were out of view.

A two-woman team from the Department of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) were on Rabbit Island this morning. They appeared to be planting several plants. They did survey the rest of the island and appeared to record the tag numbers of the seals that had them.

Team R&B first stop was to check on the poor turtle they reported yesterday. Unfortunately the turtle was still on the shoreline.

They spotted Nalu R3CX foraging. He was out there alone. They also spotted a couple of whales way out.

Over at the outfall they saw Miss Lei Ola RH48 foraging. She was with another seal. The other seal was ID'd as Kai RM31. There was a third seal they were not able to get an ID, it was reported as an Unknown Adult.

Team R&B were grateful to see the whales perform. They did their best to capture as much as they could, to share and have long lasting

memories.

Team R&B ended their day where they started. They found Nalu still out there foraging, but now he had company. There was a small seal with him foraging. It looked like the little one was RU04 and she didn't mind hanging out with Nalu.
