Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:24 to 1:49 pm and there were two seals seen during that time.
Initially together near SRI were two seals:
RQ44: sub-adult size, about 40% molted, gray female belly, three red tags. She entered the water twice and both times relocated.
Near RQ44 was a Juvenile Male: juvenile size, old coat with some green, male belly and two red tags.
Team R&B started their day at pokai bay. They found RH76 Kala alone today, she is looking healthyand chubby today. When they went back on a check later in the day she was gone.
They did see their Boobie Buddy out and about.
Once again the lovely couple Lei Ola RH48 and Nalu R3CX were together foraging at rest camp. There was a lot of activity out in the water today. At one point there was a commotion, splashing and there was a shark. Lei Ola and Nalu moved further out. Then Team R&B saw four jet skis come flying in. It was the DLNR looking for the sharks.
Lastly they went over to the outfall where there were lots of people today. They studied the water and saw an adult seal with green and a big seal with a clean coat. They were two far out for any ID. The two of them were very busy foraging and then they both headed towards the west.
