October 3, 2025 Friday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕  Also in yesterday's news from Tammy.

Tammy went out to the point with Lesley and Michael and they had a great day. Their first find was RT98 (RL98 little girl from 2024). Next find was RT06 another kid from 2024. He hasn't been seen around the area for a while so it was nice to have him back. Then there was RU04 younger sister to RT98 (RT98's 2025 little girl).
The shearwaters are getting their adult feathers and stretching their wings.
Our at the point they found R330 Squinty ID'd by his natural bleach on his stomach.  The last find of the day and completed the family tree was RL98 momma to the two little females from earlier.  How cool is that!

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:43 to 2:34 pm and there were two seal seen during that time.
On the 3BS side of Middle Cliff was a seal labeled as RQ44 Mahina: sub-adult to adult size, old coat with lots of green, female belly and three red tags ( two of LRF and one on RRF). Marilyn though it was her yesterday but wasn't able to verify the three tags. RQ44 is Aukai's 2022 Rabbit Island pup. She had been given a temp tag before receiving her cohort tags. She still has her temporary tag.
Out on RRB was a Sub-adult Female: small sub-adult size, new coat with light gray female belly and two red tags. This seal may have a pit scar on the rear left side.

Team R&B started their day at Pokai bay and saw something they don't see everyday. A very large yacht was in the bay, and everyone was talking about it.  No one seems to know much about it.
Anyway more importantly Miss Kala RH76 was at her zen pond. She was alone today snoozing peacefully.
On the rest camp side and by the jetty were the dynamic duo. Once again RH48 Lei Ola and R3CX Nalu were foraging together.

Over at Kahe they spotted a seal coming into the area. They saw it had cc scars and noted his cyst, that confirmed it was RL08.  He didn't
stay and moved out heading in the direction of KoOlina.

Lastly they found RM31 Kai at cliffs. He was seen sleeping at the same spot he was the other day. It appears he going to molt any time now.  It will be an interesting weekend if he's there to molt.
