Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:37 to 2:34 pm and initially there were six seals until a 7th one was seen at 2:16 pm.
On LPB there were initially three seals:
Adult Male 1: large adult size, old coat with considerable green and two red tags.
Juvenile Male: larger juvenile size, new coat on ventral but older coat dorsal. Light male belly, two red tags, scar on left rear.
Weaner Male: weaner size, light yellow male belly and two red tags.
A sub-adult Unknown show up at 2:15 pm: sub-adult size, older coat, not sure about sex or tags.
Between 3BS to SRI were three seal spread out:
Adult Female: robust adult size, gray female belly, scar on lower neck/upper chest, unsure about tags.
Adult Male 2: adult size, old coat, lots of green, two red tags.
RQ44 Mahina: sub-adult size, new coat, female belly and at least two probably three tags.
Team R&B first stop at Pokai they were happy to see their boobie buddy. They were a little worried about him after an incident that took place yesterday.
At the zen area was RG32 on the rocks. He's looking like he might molt sometime soon.
Checking around they were over the moon to find the lovely RH76 Kala. She seemed a little nervous, she probably knew the boys were around
Out on the water were two more seal foraging. There was the dynamic duo Lei Ola RH48 and R3CX Nalu. At one point they were separated and then back together again.
Team R&B made their way over to tracks to check on RP28 Wakea. He was on shore resting. Seems there is a family camping out nearby. Team R&B think this is the family that lost their home in a fire the other day. Prayers they will be okay.
After leaving they viewed RP28 from afar, and they could see there were many dogs in the area. There was a woman doing her best trying to keep the dogs away. Hopefully RP28 will move on to a better beach.
Over at the outfall there were three seal foraging. Team R&B hung out for a while trying to get an ID on them One of the seals was RL12 Aukai, ID'd by her scars and size.
Kaale RH32 was still at his spot on the rocks. They believe the other two seals were RL08 and RL20 foraging with Aukai
Last but not least one more find at yoks. There was a seal on shore with cc scar on under belly and no tags. The male was big and green and they were able to ID RN14 Kalani.
