February 4, 2025 Tuesday's Dailies

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:50 to 2:20 pm and there were two seals seen during that time.

There were times when they were near each other and other times further apart in the Middle Cliff to the 3BS area.

Sub-Adult Female: sub-adult size, light tannish-gray female belly and two red tags.

Nearby was an Adult Female: adult size, mottled gray female belly and two red tags.

Team R&B's first find was the lovely Miss Kala RH76. She was hiding from the boys, slumped over the water front rocks. She was alone and resting peacefully.   

When they went back to check later in the day she was still there but she moved to the pond.

Next stop they spent time watching seals foraging, trying to do their best to get IDs'.  They were able to ID R3CX Nalu pretty quickly with his bleach on the left of his face.

There was a swimmer in the area that got near him, Nalu looked at him then went back to foraging. The swimmer had no clue.

They heard a loud "bahhhh" and checking it out realized it was RL20

Kalua grumbling while he was foraging. They got a look at his tag to confirm his ID.

Another seal was out there, smaller in size, with little raccoon eyes. They labeled this seal as an Unknown Sub-adult.

Along with the seals the dolphins were out today, doing what they do best, having fun.

Lastly but not least they were rewarded by the whales. They were putting out quite a show.
