Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:53 to 2:07 pm and there were two seals seen during that time.
They were near each other by the 3BS side of Middle Cliff.
RK24 Bruno: adult size, gray male belly, two red tags, scar on the right rear side.
Next to RK24 was and Adult Female: adult size, medium gray female belly and land two red tags.
Team R&B were out and spotted multiple seals in the morning foraging in the waters. One of the sealswas labeled as an Unknown Subadult: young, subadult size, red tags and green around the eyes, darker coat. They could come up with any additional information for an ID.
There was another seal and the two were fighting/playing. They had nothing to work with so the other seal was reported as an Unidentified Unknown.
Another foraging seal had red tags, adult size and a white dot on the left side of its head.
There was another seal that they were able to ID as R3CX Nalu. He was busy foraging.
Team R&B got to enjoy watching the whales once again.
They got a call and headed out to check in about a seal that had hauled out. When they arrived they found the lovely Miss Aukai RL12 resting peacefully in a zone.
On their last stop they heard some snorkelers yell out about a seal.Sure enough an adult seal went swimming by and dove down deep. They didn't see it again and it had gone by so quickly they didn't get the photo. Oh well, seems the waters were busy with lots for foraging seals.
They shared a photo of the beautiful west side view!
