Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:22 to 2:33 pm and there was only one seal seen during that time.
Between 3BS and SRI was an Adult Male: adult size, newer coat, gray male belly and two red tags. Marilyn never got a sufficient view of the right side to determine if this was RK24, so it is being reported as an Adult Male.
Marilyn also noted there has been considerable erosion at various places on Rabbit Island from the heavy rains.
Team R&B first find was Miss KAla RH76 resting looking quite large, but still gorgeous. There were plenty of people out and about and for the time being all was good.
They rechecked on her and she was still there but now in a pond on her back, showing off her fat belly.
Still onsite they found R617 alone at the zen area. He was sleeping peacefully.
On their later check he was visited by a man and his baby. Team R&B watched, the man moved when the seal moved and looked at him. The guy told Team R&B he was just checking to see if it was alive.
At their next stop they spent two hours watching for any critters. Finally when they decided to leave they looked around one more time and got lucky. A seal hauled up and it took them a little bit to figure out who this was. They think this is Nalu R3CX.
Team R&B were treated to amazing whale sightings doing what they do best. They were thrilled to finally capture some beautiful breaches.
Along with the whales they got to watch the boys having fun on their boogie boards.
