They started their day arriving at pokai and saw one seal. There was the loyal lady Miss Kala RH76. She was alone resting peacefully while they were there. The area has a lot of homeless folks so hopefully she wasn't disturbed by anyone.
Next they stopped over at kahe where they found another seal. They did their best to try and make an ID but just couldn't come up with any, so it was reported as an Unknown Male. He has been here on the same rocks. They didn't see any tags, he has some lines near his left fore flipper, possibly a notch in one flipper. They're hoping to get some feedback as to who this mystery male is.
They got on the road and headed over to plains. There by tower 2, in a pefectly made zone was a very tired RL08. He barely moved while they were watching over him. They did see his signature cc scars to confirm his ID, even if he didn't show his tags.
Then over at Tower 1 the beautiful Miss Aukai RL12 arrived. She was a distance from RL08, not sure if they were aware of each other. Team R&B spoke with the lifeguards, letting them know how much they are appreciated, and that Aukai loves this spot. She must know she will be protected by the good men and women who believe in helping the Hawaiian monk seals.
Their last find of the day was R407 Kawika. He was alone snoozing at Kermit's Reef. There were three fishers out on the reef, but they were all respectful and left R407 alone.
