February 23, 2025 Sunday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:48 to 2:45 pm and there were two seals seen during that time.
An Adult Male was seen behind water front rocks between 3BS and SRI: adult size, dark coat, dark gray male belly and unsure about tags. Marilyn did not originally see this seal probably because he was mostly hidden behind the rocks.
About 30 feet closer to SRI was an Adult Female: adult size, older tannish-brown coat, tan female belly, scar on ventral neck, no
information on tags. This seal did not change position.

Team R&B did their search and didn't find any seals.  Then they went out again searching all the usual spots, and the only thing on the beaches were people lots of people.
Finally one last check at Kahe they were looking out over the water, the waves were big and packed with people.
Out of no where a seal went swimming by. They tried their best to get
a decent photo but it went by so fast. They were able to determine it was an adult, they didn't see tags especially due to the glare from the sun. They hung around for an hour, but the seal never landed.
They ended their day finding two baby birds resting on their pond.
