October 10, 2023 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:50 to 3:00 and there were four seals during that time.
Near the cliff on the back of LPB was Adult Male 1 : adult size, older coat with a fair amount of green, male belly and two red tags.
In the middle of LPB was a Subadult Female: small subadult size, sand covered female belly and two red tags. Marilyn thinks she may have a newer coat but it was hard to tell with all the sand.
At the SRI channel were two seals:
Adult Male 2 : adult size, olde coat, brown male belly and two red tags. He may a scar on the right mid ventral area.
Next to and maybe touching AM2 was RK24 Bruno/Wawamalu: adult size, old coat, now about 25% molted and two red tags. Line scar on his lower lip.

Team R&B started their day at the bay. There they found RM31 already up on the rocks. He was alone resting, looking good no hooks or new markers.

Next stop they were surprised to find RG28 Lefty. He not often seen here so finding him today was a bonus. He is looking big and healthy.

Team R&B decided to make the Ka'ena West trek and didn't see a single seal. All was not lost dur to the spotting a pod of dolphins at play.

Last stop at another west side location they found Miss R604. She was resting in the shallows with the waves wiggling her about. She
galumphed to the pond, looked around as if she heard another seal. Team R&B looked around didn't see anything and then R604 left the area.
They thought that was it, but there was another seal hidden in the rocks. Much to their delight it was RQ42 Opihi.  He made their day and now they were done.
