Feb 21, 2023 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕
Please check Part 2 of todays dailies. It explains what happened yesterday and shows the three seals Team R&B found in the pouring rain.

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island for about an hour late morning and there was only one seal.
On the waterfront down from the 1BS was an Adult Male: adult size, dark coat, dark gray male belly. Marilyn didn't see any tags.  He may have a pit scar on the right upper dorsal side, about mid body.

Team R&B started their day slow not finding any critters, but they kept waiting. They heard something
several times and looked over the rocks and spotted a seal fighting with something.  There was R604 with another fish, she was very busy tossing it about and munching. When she was done she swam away heading in a westerly direction.

At another west side location they spotted a seal hauling in. Up on the rocks was RM31 Kai making his way up to rest.

Next stop they were surprised to see a seal haul up from a distance. They hurried to the area and there was RH32 Kaale, looking good and healthy.
On another afternoon check Kaale had relocated further toward the Honolulu side of the shore.
They actually made a 3rd check of the area and this time R604 was there Kaale was earlier. She was alone and looking quite plump.

After stopping at tracks multiple times they did go back to check on RM31 Kai. He was still out there and now Kekoa Alii was also there. He didn't move much until later in the day he went up on the rocks.

Last but not least they found two seals out at the bay. There was the lovely RH76 Kala snoozing alone on the rocks. The other seal was Nalu R3CX looking good, they hadn't seen him in a while.
