Feb 24, 2023 Friday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Tammy, Melody, and Team R&B💕

Tammy met up with Lesley and they went out to the point and hiked Keawa'ula side. Their first find was RL74 and RW02 PvKauai.

Next they got a pleasant surprise by finding R303 BG. At the point they found R604 Kiane, who has been hanging out on Team R&B's side for a bit. While watching R604, they saw a seal coming into the main pool. The natural bleach on hind flipper made for an easy ID, Holokai RG40.

On the Keawa'ula side they only found one seal. There was RO40 Ka'ena resting on his own.

Melody went out to visit with Kaimana and PO1. When she first arrived Laki RQ64 was on the beach,

she's a juvenile probably wanting to play. Kaimana RJ58 and PO1 were in the water, and Kaimana barked a few time making it clear to stay away. Laki decided to exit the area. Kaimana and pup stayed in the shallows and played with some training. They hauled out for a nursing session, guess all that water time makes you hungry.

Seems it was a great day out at the pupping site not just for the seals but for all the posse pals.

Team R&B made it to the pupping site and were happy to catch up with friends.

They also got to see RQ64 Laki who visited with Mom and pup. They witnessed the same interaction as Melody.

Over joyed to see Kaimana and PO1, they watched while they did a short swim, a nursing and then siesta. PO1 is a big girl growing pretty fast.

After their long day at the pupping site they went to see if anything was happening on the west side. Well it was a great seal day today. There were five seals out at secrets. Aukai RL12 was on the rocks with R3CX Nalu. RL08 was close to them but on the sand. If that wasn't enough Lefty RG28 was with Kalani RN14 on shore.

There was a volunteer on site. One tourist passed through the ropes into the zone and stood on the rocks to take selfies. They asked him to move on, and his response was; why I'm not bothering them. They replied because other people will see you by the seals and think its okay for them to do that. He moved on! That was the perfect answer!
