01/28/2020 (part 2) Lesley's Ka'ena Update

Sorry I have to be brief on this report....

When I got to the point this morning I found 2 seals on Back Beach R3CU and R406 both had overnighted. After a couple of hours R3CU left and our new guy stayed alone.

In the Main Pool R330 Squinty was hauled out on the reef island. Across from him RN58 Luana was up on the little cove. They both remained there till my last check in the early afternoon.

On my way back I decided to do the Opihi trail to check what kind of debris the big swell had brought in. To my surprise I found little RL74 Kami in a little cove among rocks. It was pure chance I came up on her and saw her cause she did move and inch. I documented her and went on.  More tomorrow
