12/3/2015 DB's Dailies: Right Spot@Sandy Beach, U/F,Kea,Kimo Kai, Kainoa,& Kolohe@Rabbit Island, Kaiwi@China Walls, Benny@White Plains, Pohaku@ Off Shore Campbell Industrial Park, Buster@Ewa Beach, Ua Malie@Turtle Bay

At 0630 I found Right Spot (R016), once again snoozin’ at the east end of Sandy Beach. I got her cordoned off and she has remained all day. She departed ate 1730. Thank you Gayle.

On my first look at Rabbit Island , at 0707 I found what would turn out to be an U/F, at the log, in the Morning Glory, 40 ft left of 1BS. She seemed to be of sub adult to adult sized, with a newish coat, and 2 red tags, I was never able to confirm an ID. Maybe tomorrow ???

At 0843 Kolohe (RW22) hauled out fronting the log. His “cue ball” bleach was visible from the moment he arrived. He would remain there all day.

At 1055 a gang of three arrived to join Kolohe. It would prove to be Kimo Kai (RT12), Kea (RN46) & Kainoa (RN04). Everybody snoozed away the rest of the day, with some movement, but almost no interaction at all.

Gayle called at 1106 with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) at her China Walls estate. Mark Sullivan managed to get a left side, mid body , N96 bleach on her. Thank you Mark !!

Team Billand reported Benny (RE74) once again at #1708, White Plains. His molt continues, 50%. Mahalos to Warren & Chrissy.

The 0956 Reef Runway trip produced no seals, but the did see two fresh trails. One large and 1 small ???

At 1237 the Billands found Pohaku (RO28) foraging off shore of the lighthouse, Campbell Industrial Park.

Brandi called the Billands about an animal at access #185A, in Ewa Beach. Robert & Warren responded and found Buster (RV08), and the usual EB problems.

Jon Gelman found Ua Malie (RT10) just hauling out to the Keiki Pool at 1430. She appears to have a new wound on the right side of her neck.

Thanks to Warren, for watching out for Benny.

Thanks too, for going out on an adventure to Ewa with Robert and finding...BUSTER!!

Many thanks from my heart to Chrissy, for her watch And......FOR THE LOVELY FRAMED PHOTO YOU GAVE ME OF: Pohaku and Kolohe. I will put it on my wall and treasure it forever...that was so very thoughtful of you CHRISSY!!!!!

Today: I hope Buster comes back to Plains, I dont know why he went to Ewa, there are so many dogs on the run out there..I worry for our seals. I know he is probably looking for that lovely hot mama...ROCKY RH58. Perhaps she was there and no one called it in? Who knows.

Hi Diane, thanks for the gift for Olivia...she will love it and I promise to read her book to her.

Farewell Madhatter...it was fun meeting you again on the beach. God bless you, and thanks for watching out for Miss Pohaku at Secrets that day. Glad you got your folder back, THAT WAS A GREAT FIND. If we hadnt had that conversation, we would have not returned your folder to you, as I didnt see a name in it. But what are the chances of that find???? Take care Miss Madhatter...seal ya soon at the beach on your NEXT visit.

Hey Jean, thanks for keeping watch on Buster and Benny...so glad you are still on the force. Hugs to all, B
