12/13/17 Monk Seal Dailies: Benny RE74, PVKauai RW02, Ka'ena RO40, 3 Rabbit Island Critters & Right Spot R016

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand, Lesley and Gayle.

Team Billand was out and about when they decided to make a stop at Maili Nanakai Beach. They saw a volunteer on site and went to check it out. There on shore was a restless Benny RE74, he seemed to getting ready to haul up farther up on the grass but stayed lower. As Team Billand was taking pictures of Benny a seal all the way down caught their eye.  They walked out to the critter. There was RW02 PVKauai alone, resting peacefully.

Lesley decided to hike out to Ka'ena Point a little past noon to check out the big waves. She described it as amazing and possibly the biggest and roughest she'd ever seen.
As she was walking down the dune to Hidden Beach, she spotted a big wet seal. There was RO40 Ka'ena. The point was seal free so she just enjoyed the energy of the gigantic waves.

Gayle checked out Rabbit Island in the morning and found one seal on the far left. Just like the other day when she went back in the afternoon she didn't see anyone on the left but was happy to spot THREE (Big, Medium and Small) No way of knowing who is who but good to know they are there.
Gayle also found Right Spot again at Alan Davis. She was a little higher up from last evening so her guess is she spent the night and encountered the usual morning dog walkers. Right Spot was still sleeping when she left her tonight.
