11/29/2015 DB's Dailies: Kolohe&Kea@Rabbit Island, Right Spot@Kaupo Beach Park, Buster&Benny@White Plains, U/U@Moku Nui, Nihoa,La'akea,Ua Malie&Holokai@Turtle Bay

At 0730 I found Kolohe (RW22) & Kea (RN46) together at the log, 40 ft left of 1BS. They would both move down, allowing the ID and remained all day.

At Dana call at 0935 brought word of an animal “right of the pier”. After some coast line perusal with the scope, I spied an likely looking lump amongst the rocks at Kaupo Beach Park. I responded, and at 0947 confirmed the Right Spot (R016) ID, and cordoned her off. She has remained the rest of the day. Right Spot departed of her own volition at 1818.

Team Billand called at 0616 with the report of Benny (RE74) & Buster (RV08) at White Plains. Buster would depart at 0717, return at 0838,depart at 1000 and then return again. Barbara documented a fresh Buster wound above his left eye. Buster would depart at 1755. The Billands are workin’ late so check the blog in the morning for their day.

The Donna forwarded a Moku Nui shot from Jim W., of a small animal out there today. No ID was possible, based on the single shot, but I’m checkin’ some thoughts with Tracy.

A call at 1551 asked if I’d heard about the 4 seals at Turtle Bay ? The question was answered with a resounding Nope ! What I think I know at the moment, is that Tony had reported La’akea (RK82) at Kuilima Cove, Nihoa (R912) at Right Spot’s Spot, and Ua Malie (RT10),confirmed by tag, and a possible Holokai RG40) at the Keiki Pool. Awaiting further info & photos to confirm the ID info.
