June 11, 2026 Thursday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:26 to 2:37 pm and there were seven seals seen during that time.
Just when Marilyn started viewing an Adult Male was hauling out to two of the weaners on LPB. The AM hassled the two weaners and then galumphed over to the other weaner that was near the back Lanikai side of the LPB. The AM then moved back to a weaner in the middle of LPB, until he moved down the LPB channel. The weaners snoozed with some relocation during the rest of the viewing session.
Among rocks in the middle of the Middle Cliff was MO10 and her pup PO10. MO10 seemed to be in a really awkward position and the pup was mostly hidden behind mom.
Initially alone down from the 3BS was a Sub-adult Female: larger sub-adult size, very green female belly and two red tags.
Around 1 pm, the AM who had been at LPB, joined the SF and they had some spats in the shallow near shore waters. Then both seals moved up the beach and went into snooze mode.

Team R&B started on the west side and found RU12 who was resting alone. There are dogs in the area and began to bark so Team R&B stayed long enough to make an ID and then left the site.

Next they spotted a seal on shore at electric beach from afar. They saw a woman walking towards the seal so they hurried to the site. The seal turned around facing the water, which gave them only a few minutes to make the ID. A wave hit and they could see it was RU22, so green and thing. She spun around then the wave took her out. They saw her tags. RU22 just went out with the waves, floating away, head above the water. Team R&B noted she may have some scratches on her side.

Team R&B headed out to plains. Upon arriving they saw an adult seal, but couldn't see tags and it never moved. They think this might be KG89 who has lots of scratches on her body. KG89 is green and thin, which means she would have had her pup somewhere else.
While watching over KG89 they noticed lots of people on shore way down by the cabins. And there was a seal. By the time they made it over they ID'd RT06 and all the folks moved on. RT06 was just chilling on this Kamehameha Day.
