At the end of a long hard day of Rabbit Island observations, plus multiple trips through the SE quadrant on the "Irma Quest", the only animal in my life today was Kolohe, doing 7 minute dives at Spitting Cave, until a 1513 call from Tracy with a reported animal at Blowhole. At 1523 I confirmed that it was Duke, doing 8 minute dives.
Team Billand came through at 1503 with the report of Benny at the same location as yesterday, just before the entrance to Yokes.

Wow, its kerby's Birthday already? Happy belated Birthday little guy. You gave us the greatest seal find on Oct. 18,2008at Kaena Pt. We saw this little seal coming in with Benny, as if it didnt know the area. But Benny guided you all the way in, and, he kept Kaena away from your arrival with a vengence. And when Rob showed me the tag photo of the mystery little seal...it was W08/W09....KERBY!!!!!! The find was so awesome because, you had been missing for three months. THere you were before our eyes..in great condition..it was the Greatest Moment of our lives to see you ALIVE!!!! We talk about that amazing day allllll the time. I get chicken skin, just thinking of it...Happy Birthday sweet Kerby, we love you and are so happy you found a good home to live at. And we thank good ole Benny, for guiding you there. Yahoo!!!!
