November 01, 2023 Wednesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn, Tammy and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:23 to 2:04 and there were six seals during that time.
Out on the rock flats of LPB was a mostly hidden seal labeled as an Unknown Adult: adult size and newer coat. That was all Marilyn could determine.
Down near the waterline on LPB was a Female Weaner: weaner size, older coat, yellow female belly and two red tags.
Among and partially hidden by water front rocks almost directly down from 1BS was Unknown Juvenile 1: juvenile size, (or could be weaner) and two red tags.
Near where he was yesterday by 3BS was an Adult Male: adult size, new dark coat, dark male belly and did not see tags. It looks like there might be some remnants of old fur on the rear dorsal area.
Midway between 3BS and SRI was Unknown Juvenile 2: larger juvenile or small subadult size, light gray belly, new coat and two red tags.
Out on the rock flats of SRI was RK24 Bruno/Wawamalu: adult size, new coat, light gray male belly, two red tags and scar on right rear side.

Tammy met up with Lesley and headed out to the point. It was a quiet slow day in that they only had two seals. TA68 was resting on shore. He just recently finished his molt and is looking good.
Then there was R407 alone resting in a tidepool. He looks like he is ready to molt soon.

Team R&B had a late start due to some early appointments. Their first two seals of the day were RM31 Kai in a little pond.  Then there was RL08 resting alone.

Their next stop they found the lovely RH48 Lei Ola. She was alone snoozing in her hideout.
The boys (RH32 and R3CX)  were gone from their original spot.
There were lots of footprints including dog prints. Team R&B kept looking around and spotted a seal wat to the right of the beach. There was a molting R3CX Nalu, his chest has opened up.

They drove off to another spot and from afar they see people running along the shore chasing after a seal. They had just left the area.  Team R&B watched in anger as some folks moved on but a couple stayed taking pictures. It looked to be Kaale RH32.

Last stop at Kahe they found big boy RG32 peacefully resting alone.  They did see the loose dogs coming so they left. The dogs passed by them with no incident, so scary.
