6/19/2017 DB's Dailies: Aka,Kea,RG32&Aukai @ Rabbit Island, Right Spot @ Sandy Beach

At 0710 I found Right Spot (R016) at the east end of Sandy Beach. She had apparently over nighted by “permanent residents”. Marilyn checked her on her morning rounds. Hotline notified. Hmma responded. I heard advised that she had departed around 1100.

I arrived at Makai Pier at 072 , and began the weaner situation. Right off the bat I found what would prove to be Kea (RN46) fronting 1BS. He would remain all day.

At 0726 I found what proved to be Aukai behind Seal Rock Inlet. She appears to be molting, approximate 20%.

RG32 would come late today, hauling out near Seal Rock Inlet at 1149. Aukai would soon join her again at 1211

Even with all that cast, the day began with most importantly about a weaner. I started lookin’ at the difficult water off shore of the left end of RI. Ever slowly I began to once in a while see possible domes, and only one seen at anytime. It was finally at 0935 that the matter of fact real life weaner began to haul out to the left end of the RI beach, and hauled up higher, confirming that we have a weaner, and it was most definitely ,male weaner Aka. He remained up on the sand all day.
