Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:27 to 1:58 pm and there were five seals seen during that time.

Behind the LPB channel was PO3 probably female, but still not sure. The weaned pup stayed in the same place during Marilyn's viewing session.

RK38 Hali'a and her pup PO4 were in the water during the first part of Marilyn's session. They hauled out about 12:56 pm midway between the 1BS and the 2BS. The pup then nursed and later went into snooze mode. Marilyn got a sideways view of the pup's coat getting lighter on the ventral, but couldn't determine its sex.

About 40 feet closer to the 2BS was RF34 Pua and her male pup PO5. They snoozed for a while and then the pup nursed. The pup later moved into the water, but returned a short time later and RF34 and PO5 went into snooze mode. PO5 appears to be larger than PO4.

Team R&B were on the west side when they spotted a seal foraging off the jetty. After about 45 minutes the seal came up to the rocks and hauled out. It was RL20 Kalua and both his bleaches were showing.

There were a lot of fish way out at sea, the birds were diving and flying about like crazy. 

Team R&B got word of a little seal at Nanakuli so they hurried over to see. The seal was RU22 and she was back on shore. She is looking skinny and so green. She moved around to cool down near the water. They suspect she will molt soon.

Their next stop was at Kahe where they spotted a seal in a pond. It was R416 alone and resting. Suddenly he left the pond, galumphed over the rocks and left the area. He was heading in the direction of KoOlina, and they thought "bet that bugga going to Paradise Cove".

Of course Team R&B headed over to KoOlina and luckily found parking. Got to the beach and there was one big seal on shore. No signs were up which is a real shame. It was Aukai RL12 with lots of fans close by taking photos. Team R&B advised them to give her space.

Then Team R&B spotted another seal coming in. It was that bugga R416, he hauled up with Aukai. Of course now the people all come running over. Again Team R&B asked them all to stop, and not to go near the seals. Team R&B got creative and gathered some sticks and found some rope. It worked and the people moved away. They took the time to educate people who were interested.
