08/24/2020 Monday Monk Seal Dailies

There were eight seals seen on Oahu's west side today.

Of course Ka'ale RH32 was seen doing his thing at the outfall. Today there was another seal in the outfall but it took off to the right of the jetty.

Following the critter from the jetty he was seen by some divers hauling out on shore. The seal was ID'd as RN14 Kalani.  (Ka'ale's bosom buddy).

Next up was RL42 Leia and R3CX Nalu together. They both looking quite beautiful with their new

coats. They were hanging out together peacefully.

RL20 Kalua was at the water front rocks, snoozing alone.  All his hooks were visible, and he showed no sign of distress. He was looking very comfortable and green.

Kekoa Alii RK72 was on his side by the water front rocks, snoozing alone in peace. He's looking like he's been eating good he's nice and fat again.

Benny RE74 was seen snoozing close to the water. His tag and cookie scar were visible.

And lastly but not least was a critter that took some time to figure out. He was seen and a line scar on top of his head, cookie scar on mid back and another line scar.  After checking in with posse and doing some searching it was determined this was R407 "Kawika" a male from Kauai.
