3/26/2017 DB's Dailies: Kainoa,&RG32@Rabbit Island, Kaiwi@Kokee Flats, Pohaku@Paradise Cove, Kolohe,Kekoa,RK36,RI,RW02,Kerby&RN14@Nanakai,

I arrived at Makai Pier at 0730, but it would be 0817 before I found somebody, on the water front rocks, left of Seal Rock Inlet on Rabbit Island. It would be 0918 before I finally got an ID, and I was completely stoked to seen Kainoa’s (RN04) remnant transmitter patch at his shoulders. I’d last seen the boy on 3-3-17, when NOAA personnel retrieved what remained of his transmitter. Nothing since then. 23 days later he has returned !!!!

 At 1005 what would prove to be RG32 hauled out of Seal Rock Inlet. He and Kainoa would connect, and entered the water together at 1114, hauling out together at their starting location at 1257.

 Marilyn checked in from the Kokee Flats at 0900, with the report of Kaiwi (RK96) about have way to the Grotto.

 At 0542 Team Billand reported Pohaku (RO28) at Paradise Cove.

 The Nanakai cast began rolling in at 0745. Kolohe (RW22), Kekoa(RK72)&RK36 were the first to arrive. At 0805 RIP (RR70) arrived , followed at 0824 by RW02. On their 1455 recheck they discovered that the cast had increased to 7 critters with the addition of RN14 & Kerby (RW08) . RIP departed at 1705.
