At 0714 I found Right Spot (R016) snoozin’ on the beach at “Cockroach Bay”, Kaupo Beach Park, and totally visible from the road. Hotline was notified, and HMMA personnel were on it all day. 

From Makai Pier at 0730 I found what would prove to be the J/M up in the grass on Rabbit Island. 

The highlight of my day came at 0835 when all the Sooty Terns that have been back in the neighborhood of late were given the okay from whomever is in charge amongst them, to come in for a landing. Landing Day !!!!! A Monk Seal won’t be able to get a decent days sleep until mid July.

 At 0630 Team Billand called with the report of Benny (RE74) once again at Secrets.

 Beginning at 0818 the Billands would report the arrivals of RW02, Kekoa (RK72), RIP (RR70) & Kerby (RW08) to Nanakai Beach Park, Maili.

 At they would report Kolohe (RW22) & RN14 to Maili.

 They had received a call from White Plains lifeguards about an animal, at 0924 and at 1150 confirmed the Buster (RV08) ID.
