9/14/2015 DB's Dailies: Kaiwi&U/M@RI, Pohaku@Paradise Cove, Nihoa@Hanala'ilio Bch (Kahuku Pt), Ola & Holokai@ Turtle Bay, RL42@Makua Cliffs, Benny@Paradise Cove,

At 0707 I found my U/M at the right end of the beach , at Seal Rock Inlet, on Rabbit Island.

He would be joined at 0941 by Kaiwi (RK96). They would remain the rest of the day. I am still unable to ID the unknown, however his molt appears to be at 20%.

Team Billand called at 0706 with the report of Pohaku (RO28) at Paradise Cove. Dana called at 1600 to advise that Benny had arrived at PC, and that Pohaku immediately departed. Benny remains.

A 0908 email from volunteer Thomas Sperandeo brought word, and photos of an U/F with a new coat, approximately 1/4 mile east of Kahuku Point. An ID was not possible based on that shot, however Diane Gabriel also saw the animal later. Diane’s photos arrived at 1814 and confirmed that it is Nihoa (R912) !! She’d last been seen in Haleiwa on 8-16-15. Where the girl disappeared to only Nihoa knows, but she is back with a new coat, and just as fat and happy as ever. Thank you Diga.... Ya’ Done Good !!!

At 1000 Diane Gabriel called with the report of Ola (RG03) at Elbow Beach, TB.

At 1236 Diane checked in again with the report of Holokai (RG40) hauled out 100 ft east of the Keiki Pond.

At 1333 Team Billand checked in with the report of RL42 at Makua Cliffs. She was washed off the rocks moments after they saw her.

At 1337 they reported a drive by , by an U/U who briefly checked Lagoon #2, KoOlina . It departed at 1340, according to Security personnel.

Thanks to all who helped out with Pohaku, sorry we missed DA BENNY. Just hope miss pohaku dont go to : DEPOTS to hide from DA BENNY.

And to Miss Diane Gabriel, for making my world a joyful one again, finding Nihoa R912!! I been worrying about her, not seeing her on our side for weeks.

She looks so beautiful, FAT, she must have found some good grinds lately. So relieved she is well and JUST FINE. thanks Diane!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Happy, Joy JOY!!!
