December 31, 2024 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Team R&B 💕   Also I just want to thank them for all their hard work during 2024.... and that goes to Marilyn and all our monk seal posse.  

Team R&B started their day at pokai and while there a seal was arriving in a hurry. It was RH76 Kala very alert, probably getting away from one of the males.   

They spotted spinner dolphins and then there were lots of boats

gathering. Each boat was letting passengers with vests in the water. Then Team R&B were surprised to see a pod of bottlenose dolphins. All these years they had bever seen that many bottle nose dolphins.

Next they headed over to Kahe where initially the only seal they saw was Kekoa Alii RK72.  But when they got over to the site there was another seal that landed near him. It was RP30 Puka who was very excited to be with Uncle Kekoa, and Uncle was very nice and accepted him up on the rocks.

Then... they saw both seal reacting to something and they moved making room on the rocks. Here come another seal, it was RL20 Kalua. He came right up and joined the both of them.  Then RL20 got into a fight with Puka RP30, went back in the water for a half hour and then came back on the rocks.

Then on their last check at yoks they saw surfers enjoying their last waves for 2024. 

And they saw whales breaching, such a beautiful way to end their day
