They had a much better day on the beaches today! They had seals, whales, and dolphins!
The first seal they spotted at their first stop at pokai. There was RM31 Kai alone already hauled up on the rocks. He was sound a sleep.
Next they spotted RH76 Kala. She was foraging and then she came right up through the rocks and hauled into a small pond. She was very hidden. There was a fisher who never saw her, but she was aware of him. Team R&B got the fishers attention and let him know Kala was there. He was super nice andmoved away.
Team R&B spotted 8 boats out and wondered what they viewing. Well there was a whale that breached and made it known, she was there and back off.
Their next stop was at cliffs where they spotted something in the water. They were with a friend and they told him it looked like a seal. They were able to determine it was an Unknown Adult foraging but couldn't get enough for an ID. Their friend is the one with the big dog name Articus. Very handsome, very big!
Lastly they arrived at Kahe and were thrilled to find RK72 Kekoa Alii. He is completely molted and looking quite handsome in his new coat. There is still a patch from where a camera was once attached.
While observing Kekoa they saw another seal swimming off the rocks, but it never hauled out. The seal continued in the KoOlina direction. They reported the seal as another unknown adult as there wasn't anything to go on for an ID.
