February 3, 2026 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:23 to 3:32 pm and there were two seals seen during that time.
Among the water front rocks between the 1BS and 2BS was a Juvenile Female: juvenile size, older coat, light yellow female belly and two red tags.
On the rock flats near SRI was a Sub-adult Female: sub-adult size, light female belly, no info on tags.
Marilyn did see one of the juvenile Masked Boobies on the upper crater ridge and a Brown Booby in the water near Middle Cliff.
.
Team R&B's first find was RP30 Puka. He was alone hauled up on the rocks. He was very alert but there wasn't any other seals around.

They received a couple of text messages of two seals at plains. So they headed out to the area and found the lovely KG89 Huakai. She was in the company of a young male.  Huakai is getting really fat, soooo big.
The male had two red tags, one read J01. He had a small ding on the right side of his head and a possible small scar on left eye. He looked as though he had just went through a molt and lost some weight, wrinkled up some. Team R&B did not recognize him. Hopefully they'll get some feedback as to who this male is.( "J" tags are from 2017).

Team R&B ran some errands in the area and while at Costco they got a call of a third seal at plains. When they were done they hurried over to check it out. The small male RJ01 was still there, but no KG89. To the left of the fence line was RL12 Aukai.
