Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:54 am to 1:32 pm and there were three seals seen during that time.

On the 1BS side of LPB was Adult Male 1: small adult size, new coat, male belly and unsure about tags.

Between 3BS and SRI were two seals:

RK24 Bruno: adult size, newer coat, light gray male belly, two red tags, scar on the right rear side.

Adult Male 2: adult size, old coat, male belly, no into on tags.

Team R&B started their day at Pokai and spotted a seal foraging. It was RG32 foraging like crazy near

the jetty once again. Then they spotted a second seal foraging. It turned out to be RH48 Lei Ola who disappeared after a while.

While on site they saw what they described as a remarkable event. An Iwa Bird with a big fish, it actually dropped the fish several times. They kept watching as the bird would swoop down to grab the fish then drop it again. In the end he finally for the fish and left the area.

They ended their day with a big surprise. Much to their delight when they got to Kahe they spotted a big seal with one tag showing. They

were thrilled to see it was Kekoa Alii RK72.  He was born in 2011 at reef runway to one of the great moms Ewa Girl.  He is in good condition, just some green on his coat. There was a black thing on him which they figured out were hermit crabs.

If that wasn't enough to end a great day they saw the whales and a Mom with her calf.
