Their first find was the adorable little male who loves hiding in the rocks. They found him once again in a spot that made it difficult to see and photograph him. They spent a while figuring out the best angles.

It was RQ24 born in 2022.  Team R&B reached out and asked what I thought of the name Opihi for him  since he's always hiding in the rocks.  I totally agree its a very fitting name for this yearling.

They intended to make the Ka'ena West but the gates were locked, Seems there was some confusion about the closure of the Makaha Bridge for three days. It suppose to close at the end of the month.

They ended up stopping at the cliffs and found a seal sleeping. They ID'd R3CX Nalu by greenish color and his signature bleach mark on the left side of his face.

When they saw Nalu they thought about RL42 Leia since he was just with her. She wasn't with him but at another spot near by she was alone and snoozing in a shallow pond. She was looking fat today.
