Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand and Team T&D.Team Billand went out to visit with RL42 Leia and PO4. When they arrived Mom and pup were coming in on shore. Volunteers were on site.The seals rested for a bit, but then the pup started to nudge Mom for a feeding. At first Mom ignored the kid, but finally turned over for a feeding.
They observed one feeding and no swimming while they were there. It did rain a couple of times and Leia RL42 moved higher up and to the right, the pup followed. They watched as PO4 played with a leaf and met a crab.
Team Billand called it day and headed out to check out a few other sites.Team Billand arrived at KoOlina and foung ropes up and there was RH92 on shore resting peacefully. They spoke with security about making sure they moved the ropes if she moved towards them.
At another west side site on their way home they found RN14 Kalani on the rocks. He was alone and snoozing the day away.
Team T&D hiked Ka'ena point and had a lucky seven seal day. Their first find was Nalu R3CX at the beach near the parking lot. Next was Lina RL98 at 10 minute beach. RL98 is looking healthy and quite green.Next there was a large UU at BG's Pool. Tammy was able to get confirmation that in fact it was BG in her pool :-)
RL74 Kami was on the rocks near Ka'ena's pool. While at the point they spotted a seal coming into the main pool do a lap and then leave. They were able to ID da Benny RE74 who was probably looking for wahine.
And of course last but not least was RL42 Leia and PO4 Kai having a nursing session.
