June 5, 2019 Monk Seal Dailies:

Today's dailies are brought to you by Team Billand and Lesley. Lesley's Ka'ena update is part two of the dailies.

Team Billand was out early as usual and their first find came at 7 am when they spotted Ka'ale RH32. He is very green and fat (we all know how much he likes to eat). He was sleeping on the lower rocks alone. It was still early so Team Billand went to check out other areas.

Seems the west side is pretty quiet these days, but when Team Billand went back to check on Ka'ale he now had company. Sweet Lei Ola RH48 was now on lower rocks on her back snoozing. Ka'ale was now in the shallows snoozing.

On their last check at 3 pm Ka'ale was now with Lei Ola and they arguing as the tide was rising and slapping over them. Ka'ale gave her his signature head butt ( this is why we call him butt head), Lei Ola turned to vocalize back at him. This seem to please him so he did it again, and she on the other hand did not like this so she roared at him. Finally he backed off. 
Needless to say these two are strong willed and make the perfect seal couple.  
Team Billand's battery died so their last shot was the two of them chilling, but soon after they left with the tide.
