Gayle's only find today was Kaiwi RK96. I am sure Gayle didn't mind since we all know Kaiwi is her favorite. Gayle did mention there was a lot of whale action today and the surf is still rough in the area.

On her way home she stopped by White Plains ( of course she had to check to see :-) and just as she was walking out to the beach Buster V08 was hauling out by Tower 2 and the lifeguards (bless their hearts) already had signs out waiting for him, since it's the same place he hauled out the day before.
At the other end of the beach by Tower 1 there was another seal who had been there since 9:30 am. A volunteer had just arrived at the beach unofficially with a friend so between the two they worked together to ID both seals. The seal at tower 1 being a large marge female was ID'd as Pohaku. Both seals were called into the hotline. Melody left about 3:00 while the other two stayed enjoying the day monitoring both seals.
