April 7, 2026 Tuesday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:26 to 1:08 pm due to the increasing cloud cover and then the rain. There were three seals seen during that time.
On the 3BS side of Middle Cliff was an Adult Male: small adult size, very mottled tan male belly, no info on tags. Marilyn doesn't think this A/M was any of the three males that she saw on island yesterday. He moved closer to the 3BS soon after she started viewing.
Almost directly down from the 3BS was an Unknown Juvenile: smaller juvenile size, two red tags. No info on sex.
Near the SRI channel was a Sub-adult Unknown: smaller sub-adult size, olde coat with some green, no info on tags or sex.

Team R&B started their day on thee west side. As they were approaching the area they spotted a seal coming in. They watched and the seal went to the zen area. They were able to ID Miss Kala RH76. She took her sweet time hauling in. She looked around and saw there
were no males and finished her haul out at her beloved zen area.
They also saw that the boobies were back.

Out on the water they spotted some splashing from afar. They watched and saw an adult seal foraging. They were unable determine which adult it was so it was reported as an Unknown Adult.

Next stop was at plains where they found two seals on shore in a zone. They were able to ID R407 Kawika.  The other seal was sandy so it
took aa little longer. They saw a CC scar under belly and then after a while he flipped. That is when they saw his natural bleach ball. It was RN14 Kalani and it's been a while since he was seen at plains.

After an appointment they stopped by Kahe. It was pouring rain but they made a quick check. There was RL08 looking really big. He is one of the larger males. The other male was RG32.
