Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:08 to 1:47npm and there were eight seals seen during that time.
MO3 and her pup PO3 were again on LPB. They went for about a 15-minute swim near the LPB channel and then returned to the beach for a nursing session and snooze. Marilyn saw at least one tag on MO3. Both seem to be doing well.
RF34 Pua and her pup PO5 were behind waterfront rocks about 50feet Makapuu of the 3BS for the first hour. Then they hauled out and both snoozed and nursed. They too seem to be doing well. Marilyn saw at least one red tag on RF34.
MO4 and her pup PO4 were about 50 feet towards Makapuu from RF34&PO5.. Marilyn assumes at some point they will move closer together.
MO4 and PO4 started out on the waterfront rocks with PO4 in a small tide pool. Later the pup moved in front of MO4 and they appeared to spend some time in shallow water. Then they hauled out and went into snooze mode. Marilyn saw at least one tag on MO4.
A Juvenile Female hauled out of the SRI channel about 12:40 pm: juvenile size, old coat with lots of green, two red tags, female belly. The JF is very dark under the eyes.
Further out the SRI channel on the rock flats behind the channel was RL08 aka BamBamSquarePants. He was ID'd by his large size, gray male belly, at least one red tag, pit scars on left shoulders, right mid dorsal and right rear. He didn't pester any other seals during Marilyn's watch.
Team R&B were out searching all their usual spots. After a very long day they only found two seals today. Out at plains was RT06 on shore with the lovely Miss Auka RL12. Everyone assumes RT06 is Aukai's pup probably because he's only two and smaller, and of course Aukai is huge because she's pregnant.
Lastly they didn't see anymore seals but did see dolphins for the first time in a long time.
