02/15/2022 (part 2 ) Lesley's Weekly Ka'ena Update

Aloha all,
Another busy week went by and the park is starting to "look" better. The wildlife has been the highlight around around here. Hard to say who is stealing the show whales, BFAL /LAAL, the LAAL chicks or the HMSeals
This past week the players were:
RL47 Kamakana spent several days (on & off) sleeping on a reef. He was visited on different days by R330 Squinty, RW02 PVKauai and R407 Kawika. The 3 did the same thing. Swam into the pool, checked on him. Squinty and PVKauai moved to
another reef to haul out but Kawika went up beside him. Not once interaction was observed.
RJ40 'E'ena, our Molokai girl also spent the week here. She would haul out mid-morning either alone or in the company of RO40 Ka'ena and R3CX Nalu on alternate days. Ka'ena has hauled out on other days. It was a surprise to see Nalu aroundRL98 Lina has been hauling out in different spots. Her CC wound is closing up nicely.
RN58 Luana came around and is looking VERY HEALTHY
It's a pleasure to share with you the our girl KG54 Huaka'i showed up again at our doorstep yesterday. A Valentine present, after her tour around Oahu and who knows where else.
More soon - Be Safe ðŸŒº
