February 7, 2019 - Lesley's Ka'ena Update

Team T&D and I went out on a mission today to retrieve nets on reefs out at the point. We attacked 2, managed to bring them up to the paths. Part of them came out to the bins. Mahalo plenty to super team always fun and rewarding day working with you. It's a relief to know the seals don't have to be around those nets

Visitors told us about a seal with a box on it's back so we went out to the point to check on RO40 "Ka'ena" with his new tags O54/O55 and cel tag.

On the reef island of the Main Pool R330 "squinty" was taking a good snooze. We never got to see him move.

Yesterday's storm as well as a big downpour this morning kept visitors away. Albatrosses were hunkered down but the whales were everywhere.
