November 29, 2025 Saturday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 12:18 to 2:19 pm and there were six seals seen during that time.
On LPB were four seals:
Closer to Lanikai side of LPB was an Adult Male: adult size, gray male belly, not sure about tags.
RU38: weaner to juvenile size, yellow female belly and two red tags.
RK24 Bruno: adult male, medium gray male belly, two red tags scar on lower lip.
Adult Female: adult size, medium gray female belly at least one red tag.
Between Middle Cliff and 3BS was a Sub-adult Female: sub-adult size, medium gray female belly, not sure about tags.
Near SRI channel was Weaner Unknown: weaner size, older coat, yellow belly, two red tags. not sure about sex.

Team R&B made it to their first stop and no seals showed up for a
long time. Finally the foragers start to show up. First to be ID'd is R3CX Nalu, then RM31 Kai. They spotted RL20 Kalua out there busy foraging. Later on in the day he hauled up on the rocks and immediately went into snooze mode for the rest of the day. They also spotted Miss Lei Ola RH48 out foraging.

While they were looking for seals and trying to make IDs they got to talking with a nice woman and her  kids. They offered to help by letting them know if any other seals arrived.
Well sure enough another one arrived. Team R&B returned to the site and there was little RU12, hurrying over the rocks, like she was in a big hurry.  She is a cutie patootie!
They also saw the boats out on the waters and two whales near by. There was also a kayaker out there and the whales got close, exciting but worrisome.
Much to their delight they spotted another seal coming in. It was the lovely RH76 Kala. She took another spot to hided out for the day. She is looking big and healthy.

Team R&B got a text from a friend about a seal on shore at Makaha. They headed over to the site and there was RL42 Leina.  Someone had put up a couple of signs.  Then a huge Honu hauled up next to RL42.
She seemed freaked out about it coming up by her, but she stopped galumphing and stayed.
They stopped to check one of the other beaches and there was another seal. It was R416 Makalii, no tags, cc scar under his belly.

They saw a few signs out on the beach at yoks but there was no seal. They walked around and out to the shore line and there was RG28 Lefty. He was covered in sand.

Lastly they headed back to check to see if RU12 was still around. They were so happy to find RU04 now with RU12. The two weaners hanging around together.
