Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:24 to 2:41 pm and there were five seals seen during that time.

MO3 and her pup PO3 moved from LPB and hauled out between 1BS and 2BS. The pup was mostly hidden behind mom. Later due to the rising tide, MO3 and PO3 moved up shore. Later they had aa nursing session. Marilyn noted that MO3 has a right ankle scar and only one tag on her LRF. This points more towards MO3 as RB12.

At 1:34 pm, RF34 Pua and her pup PO4 hauled out at the beach in the Middle Cliff area. RF34 was ID'd by her two tags and her right rear scar. Pup seems healthy and active. Marilyn got a view of PO4's belly today, but she's not ready to make a guess about its sex.

Marilyn had hoped MO3 and her pup would stay on LPB and RF34 and PO4 would stay near 3BS, so that the pups would be separated once they wean. But they were only about 100 feet apart today.

Between 3BS and SRI was an Adult Male: adult size, two red tags, medium to dark gray male belly. He might be the same AM that has been on island recently. He hauled out in the area where Pua and PO4 had been hauling out. This made Marilyn wonder id his presence contributed to RF34's decision to haul out at Middle Cliff.

Team R&B spotted three seals at pokai. They were all in the water which made it difficult to get positive IDs. The first one they were able to ID as R3CX Nalu who came into the zen area, he looked around and left.

Next they saw an adult seal foraging. They were not sure of any tags but it did have cc scars on its back and one on the neck area. They just couldn't make the ID, although they noted it was very cute.

Another mystery seal was foraging at the jetty. They could see it had one red tag, but could not determine anything beyond that.

Lastly they spotted a seal at the outfall area. They couldn't make a positive ID on this seal either. It was smaller in size and did have a red tag that they couldn't read. Their thought is maybe RL20 Kalua, but reported it as an unknown.
