Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 10:43 am to 1:12 pm and there were six seals seen today.

Out on LPB was MO3 and her pup PO3. PO3 was hidden behind mom for much of the time, but Marilyn did get to see PO3 several times. Marilyn still isn't sure of the ID of MO3. It could be Sadie RB12, but she can't say for sure. Mom and pup seem to be doing fine.

Almost directly down from the 3BS was a Juvenile Female: small juvenile size, older coat, tannish yellow female belly and two red

tags. She almost looked as small as PO4.

YES the big news of the day was the arrival of PO4 to mom MO4 about 50 feet Makapuu of the 3BS. The pup appeared to be in a small tide pool near the waterfront rocks. Soon after viewing, RF34 Pua hauled out near MO4 and PO4 and a short time later they were joined by RL08 "BamBam SquarePants". MO4 is the female with the lower neck/upper chest scar.

RF34 and RL08 did move in the Makapuu direction so MO4 and pup had some space.

RF34 was identified by her large size, very pregnant female belly. her right rear scar and at least one red tag.

Team R&B started on the west side. They found Miss Kala RH76 alone and resting. Hopefully sometime soon she will be out of the area and heading to a good pupping spot.

While with Miss Kala they saw a Heron posing like a Plover and they took a pic of a butterfly.

They got word there was a seal on shore at plains. So they headed out and when they arrived they found not one but four seals. The lifeguards set up a nice protection zone for them.

The first seal they ID'd was Miss Aukai RL12. She was in the company of three males, big boy R407, cutie pie RT06 and last but not

least RN14 Kalani.

Heading back to the west side they found RM31 Kai. He was resting peacefully alone. There was no one bothering him for a change. There was a chopper that flew over very low, they think it was HFD doing exercises. RM31 got a little nervous, but stayed and settled in.
