April 13, 2026 Monday's Dailies

Todays dailies are brought to you by Marilyn and Team R&B💕

Tammy sent me an email last evening so in the yesterday's news department: There was a call from the coconut wireless and Team R&B got word that N45 Temp 402 was hauled out at a beach in Kahala.
They couldn't go but they let the posse know and Tammy happen to be in the area so she went to check it out.   Needless to say Team R&B were thrilled to know he's doing okay.

Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 1:35 to 3:27 pm and there were five seals seen during that time.
Out on the rock flats Lanikai side of LPB was an Adult Female: large adult size, tan female belly with protruding nipples, at least one and probably two tags, scar on lower neck/upper chest. She is huge and will probably pup soon.
On the 1BS side of LPB was MO3: large size, no info on sex or tags. Marilyn did not see PO3 today, but she thinks it was on mom's ventral size, because she looked up frequently check her ventral side. Marilyn still wasn't able to get an ID on MO3 and she didn't give her anything to go on.
Directly down from the 1BS was an Adult Unknown:: smaller adult size, no into on sex or tags.
On the rock flats on the 3BS side of SRI was R7AF: smaller adult size, difficult to read applied N61 bleach, no info on tags.
Out on RRB was a Sub-adult Unknown: small sub-adult to large juvenile size light yellow ventral, no info on sex or tags.

Team R&B were out searching and not finding any seals on the west side.  They decided to check out plains and when they arrived they saw three seals.  They saw R407 resting by the fence line. Then together were RL12 Aukai and RN14 Kalani.
Then R407 decided to move up and so did RN14 Kalani. Seems Kalani didn't like R407 checking on RL12 Aukai. Kalani charged over about 20 feet towards R407. There was a very happy bystander taking a video. Team R&B moved one of the signs back to give the seals more room.
RN14 Kalani was whooping at R407.... so R407 was smart and flipped over like he was interested. That was good because Kalani turned to face RL12 Aukai.  All was calm. Team R&B stayed about two hours.

The only other critters they found during their travels today were four boobies hanging out on a wall. They put on a good show while they flew out, swooping down, diving in the water and catching a fish.
They suspect with all the rain and flooding that even the goats were happy this afternoon with the sunshine.
