Marilyn viewed Rabbit Island from 11:48 to 2:12 pm and there were seven seals seen during that time.
Initially on the rock flats on the Lanikai side of LPB was one of the recent weaners labeled as RU48 (could be RU64) chubby weaner size and shape, two red tags and light male belly. RU48 moved onto the sand and stayed in the same place.
TempN25: sub-adult size, new coat scar above LFF and no tags.
Recent Weaner RU64 (maybe RU48): chubby weaner size and shape, two red tags and light male belly.
Older weaner RU38: older weaner size and shape, older coat, two red tags and light female belly.
Initially down from 3BS and Sub-adult Female 1: sub-adult size, very green, about 25% molted with a new upper ventral, female belly and two red tags. At 1:06 pm, she hauled out at the 1BS side of LPB.
At 12:24 pm, Marilyn spotted another sub-adult female. Sub-adult Female 2: among the rocks between 1BS and 2BS. The SF2 has an older coat with a fair amount of green, two red tags and greenish-gray female belly.
At 1:45 pm another seal showed up offshore of SF1. This seal is labeled as Sub-adult Female 3: sub-adult size, new coat with light female belly and two red tags. The seal hauled out next to SF1.
Team R&B first stop at Pokai and initially didn't see any critters. As they were walking around they spotted a deal in the rocks very hidden. This turned out to be RG32. Then much to their surprise there was movement higher up on the rocks. There was the lovely RH76 Kala. Eventually the two of them moved down.
Over at rest camp they saw two seals foraging. They ID'd RH48 Lei Ola with R3CX Nalu. They didn't land at all. At one point there was some commotion , like there was a third seal. Team R&B couldn't tell who the seal was and the photos don't show anything. So it was Lei Ola and Nalu.
Team R&B went to check on R604 and it took them a while to find her. Seems she moved further west. She is about 60% molted. She never showed her belly but her old scars are really showing up now.
Lastly they were driving along when they were surprised to see a seal on shore at ranches. This isn't a great spot to stop with all the homeless folks and their dogs. Team R&B made two stops to check on the seal and trying not to attract attention to the seal or themselves. They ID'd the seal as R416 Makali'i who is looking quite green.
