DB Post Sunday 10/4/09

It was wonderful to have a nice quiet day at Rabbit Island, with no drama, and no bad guys. RIP, Sadie and Mikala all had a relaxing day. At the beginning of the day RIP and Sadie were up in the Morning Glory, 40 ft right of 3BS, however at 1215 RIP would enter the water and at 1220, haul out to join Mikala at the far left end of the beach. There was no interaction.

On our 0755, Spitting Cave check, Marilyn and I found Buster & Benny doing 8 minute dives. Once again there was no observed , surface interaction. It appeared to be straight foraging.

Team Billand reported Irma at White Plains at 0615. They found Kermit just entering the water at "Al's Bench" at the west end of Kalaeloa Campgrounds. He would haul out to join Irma at 0940. They report that Irma is 100% molted. I received word at 1750 from Jenn that apparently both Irma and Kermit had departed White Plains.
